Here are some more pictures from our time at Rays of Hope and our trip on Saturday to Jinja and the Source of the Nile. The kids were amazed to think that we were on the same river where Moses’ mother made a basket and placed him in the water. Granted, that was a long way from where we were, but still cool nonetheless! We also got to see a man bungee jump into the Nile. John Mark wanted me to bungee so bad, but I just told him we didn’t have time! I wouldn’t have jumped off that platform for all the money in the world and I love a thrill, but it was waaaaaay up there! Anyway, hope you enjoy the pics and enjoy your Saturday! I’m going to save some battery and internet time to keep up with all the football action! It’s been tough being in Uganda the week after the Iron Bowl because nobody here cares a lick that Bama won! However, Matthew came out of the house the other day and unprompted gave a VERY BIG, “Rolllllllllll Tide!” I thought it was priceless and even Susan smiled. Thank God for brothers like Timothy and John Mark who are training them right! Haha!

Can’t wait for Paul to teach me some moves! Love to see John Marks smile and Abby looks so at home and as usual, beautiful!!!
So glad ya’ll have had a good day, such memories to share forever. missing you and prayers for you all.
So HOW surreal was that moment when you were on the Nile River? Did you talk about the Miriam in both the Bible story and your family’s story?
We are eating up every single word. Thanks for the pictures! Please tell Matthew and Paul they are very loved and prayed over, and there are gobs of friends waiting to meet them in America!
